Whether we’re aware of it, or not, we’re in relationship with everything and everyone; with the earth, the environment, people, plants, animals, ourselves, and the Divine. If our communication is not based on principles of non-violence, love, compassion, and the humility to try to understand the other, then the foundations of our relationships will not sustain the storms of the conflict that is a natural part of being in relationship.
